The location of Destination By Hyatt in Chapel Hill is fantastic, just steps away from the campus. I really appreciated the beautiful architecture and the cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with tasteful decor that resonated with southern charm. However, I encountered some issues. The customer service felt inconsistent. While some staff members were friendly, others seemed aloof and disconnected. I had a hard time getting the information I needed about dining and amenities. In one instance, I experienced a delay in housekeeping and lacked basic supplies like extra toiletries until I asked. Dining at the in-house restaurant had its highs and lows. While the food looked promising, getting timely service was hit or miss. There was also a noticeable noise level that affected the dining experience at times. I believe these are improvements that could enhance guest experiences significantly.
