The Carolina Inn served as a fantastic base for exploring Chapel Hill with my family. The southern charm and rich history are palpable. Our room was spacious and comfortable for both us and our baby. Plus, enjoy delicious breakfasts at Crossroads!

In my wife’s opinion, the lobby could have more kid-friendly activities or facilities to entertain little ones during our stay.

The recent renovations made my stay feel extra special, especially enjoying the cozy ambience with complimentary organic tea in my room. comfortable room
    southern charm
    great location
    aloof staff
    dining noise
    housekeeping delays

The location of Destination By Hyatt in Chapel Hill is fantastic, just steps away from the campus. I really appreciated the beautiful architecture and the cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with tasteful decor that resonated with southern charm. However, I encountered some issues. The customer service felt inconsistent. While some staff members were friendly, others seemed aloof and disconnected. I had a hard time getting the information I needed about dining and amenities. In one instance, I experienced a delay in housekeeping and lacked basic supplies like extra toiletries until I asked. While the food looked promising, getting timely service was hit or miss. There was also a noticeable noise level that affected the dining experience at times. I believe these are improvements that could enhance guest experiences significantly.
